The Raiders caused a major upset on Saturday night when they came from 18 points down to defeat minor premier Kilsyth 76-75 in the preliminary final.
The Braves will be hoping for third time lucky after Knox defeated Bendigo in the 2006 and 2008 grand finals.
11 Aug 10 | THE Bendigo Spirit has secured another big name, with experienced guard Kelly Wilson re-signing for the 2010-11 WNBL season.
Wilson’s re-signing with the Spirit will mark her third consecutive season with the club.
In last season’s WNBL action, Wilson scored more than 20 points in five separate matches and averaged 11 points, four rebounds and two assists per game.

Among the Spirit’s major pick-ups is the re-signing of Canadian import Chelsea Aubry.
Aubry dominated for the Spirit last season as the second highest scorer and rebounder in the team, including a 28-point individual effort against grand finalist Bulleen.

In one of the lowest-scoring finals in SEABL history, the Braves didn’t score in the final six minutes of the game ,but somehow managed to hold off the fast-finishing Cobras.
