Haring signs on for another season with Bendigo Spirit
02 Sep 10 | THE Bendigo Bank Spirit has secured another big name for the 2010-11 WNBL season, with forward Eleanor Haring signing on. Haring, who hails from Rochester, began her WNBL career with the Australian Institute of Sport before moving to Perth.

Daniels missed the Braves’ semi-final triumph over the Kilsyth Cobras because of a knee injury. There was some concern that the 39-year-old would miss the chance to play in his first SEABL conference grand final.
16 Aug 10 | FOR the third time in five years the Symes Motors Bendigo Braves will tackle the Knox Raiders for an SEABL conference title. The Raiders caused a major upset on Saturday night when they came from 18 points down to defeat minor premier Kilsyth 76-75 in the preliminary final. The Braves will be hoping for third time lucky after Knox defeated Bendigo in the 2006 and 2008 grand finals.
Wilson signs on for third season with Spirit
11 Aug 10 | THE Bendigo Spirit has secured another big name, with experienced guard Kelly Wilson re-signing for the 2010-11 WNBL season. Wilson’s re-signing with the Spirit will mark her third consecutive season with the club. In last season’s WNBL action, Wilson scored more than 20 points in five separate matches and averaged 11 points, four rebounds and two assists per game.

11 Aug 10 | The Bendigo Spirit looks set to challenge the Women’s National Basketball League’s best this season, with several key signings increasing the team’s depth for its 2010-11 campaign. Among the Spirit’s major pick-ups is the re-signing of Canadian import Chelsea Aubry. Aubry dominated for the Spirit last season as the second highest scorer and rebounder in the team, including a 28-point individual effort against grand finalist Bulleen.

10 Aug 10 | THE Champions IGA Lady Braves’ season may be over, but coach Lukas Carey said yesterday the team had a lot to look forward to in the future. Carey, whose first season as coach of the Lady Braves came to an end in Saturday night’s playoff in Brisbane, said the team’s performance had put the club in good stead for success in next year’s SEABL action.
09 Aug 10 | THE Symes Motors Bendigo Braves will play in their fifth SEABL conference grand final in six years after defeating the Kilsyth Cobras 57-55 in Saturday night’s major semi-final in Melbourne. In one of the lowest-scoring finals in SEABL history, the Braves didn’t score in the final six minutes of the game ,but somehow managed to hold off the fast-finishing Cobras.
