Woman injured in Myers Flat accident

08 Feb, 2012 11:12 AM
A WOMAN has been airlifted to Melbourne for treatment after a car accident in Myers Flat this morning.

Sergeant Pauline East said a young man was driving down Myers Flat Road just before 8am and turned into the Loddon Valley Highway in front of the woman's car.

"The woman took evasive action and hit a tree," Sergeant East said.

"She suffered multiple fractures and was airlifted to hospital."

The cars did not collide and the man was unharmed.

Police are investigating the incident and Sergeant East said the male driver might be issued with a penalty notice.
