THE national Vibe Alive festival will return to Bendigo this year after a successful event in 2011.
The two-day festival, celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, will take place on August 8 and 9.
Festival-goers take part in a range of activities, including dancing, rapping, singing, painting and sport.
Executive producer Gavin Jones said the event would showcase young people of all talents and abilities, and inspire them to reach their full potential.
“One of the most important things we do is deliver the very real message at the festival that getting a full education means a full-on future,” he said.
“At Vibe Alive, students get to find out about career choices, meet inspiring celebrities and local role models who have achieved results in their fields of expertise, and learn a few important things about how to lead a healthy lifestyle.”
He said schools could register online at vibealive.com.au and volunteer by email to vibealive@outthere productions.com.au
