PRINCESS Charlene of Monaco will open an art exhibition honouring her mother-in-law in Bendigo next year.Princess Charlene’s husband Prince Albert told Riviera Radio that his new wife would travel to Bendigo to open the Grace Kelly: Style Icon exhibition in March.“It is the last part of the Princess Grace exhibition on my mother,” he said.“That has been going around the world since it opened here… so next year will be the last year of its itinerary around the world and it will take us to Bendigo, outside of Melbourne.“Unfortunately, I personally will not be able to go because of the World Water Council meeting in Marseille at that time.“But Princess Charlene and another member of the family will be going and will be attending the opening of the exhibition.”Bendigo Art Gallery director Karen Quinlan said the gallery was thrilled it had secured the royal visit.
