HAVING made Bendigo his home about 12 months ago, Paul McMahon is well and truly enamoured of the city.
Mr McMahon was appointed branch manager of PFD Food Service two weeks ago and said it was a priority of the business to shop locally.
His wife and four children had settled into Bendigo very well.
“To be lucky enough to get a job and stay here is very exciting - we’re rapt,” he said.
“One thing that is important to me is to shop locally.
“All electrical work is done locally and we make sure we purchase administration goods in Bendigo.
And we employ 26 local people.”
Eighteen months ago, PFD Food Service moved to Wellsford Park estate, from Garsid Street, to be part of the food precinct at Arbor Boulevard. Mr McMahon said he looked forward to showing customers the business’s state of the art facility.
“We have a very strong focus on customer service.”
