New Huntly estate goes on sale

18 Feb, 2012 03:00 AM
BENDIGO’s biggest housing development has gone on the market today, with 800 residential allotments available in Huntly.

The Viewpoint development has released its first 53 house blocks on sale, just off the Midland Highway.

The full development from Ballarat-based development group Integra is set to take eight to 10 years to complete.

Integra Land Director Nick Grylewicz said he was excited about the opportunities for home buyers.

“With current residential land shortages in Bendigo as well as increasing population growth, this estate is exactly what many individuals and families are looking for,” he said.

“It is an attractive parcel of land that is family-friendly with large allotments and plenty of parkland.”

Viewpoint’s creation of more than 800 new homes is expected to have the spin-off of creating approximately the same number of new jobs, according to state government forecasts.

“We feel confident in the future of the Bendigo economy; we look forward to supporting it and helping it to grow,” Mr Grylewicz said.
