WE DID get rain.

We can all be happy the grass is up.

We don't feel so guilty taking longer in the shower.

No watering by odds and evens for the moment, no need to hose down the driveways, the rain took care of that - it's all good.

We did get rain - Coliban, the council and the community can breathe a sigh of relief.

We did get rain - but not enough to make a difference to our water supply.

We did get rain - our farmers are over the moon.

Now that it has rained - are we planning for the future?

Are we smart enough to be a leader in rural Australia in the quest for water source alternatives?

Now that it has rained - the opportunity to get back to the future of our water supply has got to be the focus.

Now that it has rained - let's not be complacent.

Let's not forget we all need to make a noise about water, not just relax and say: "that's good, it's finally rained" and reckon it will be all right now because the ground is wet.
