Fashion, fun and the odd horse, of course

WORLD-RENOWNED horsemen and fashion parades will be just some of the highlights at the National Equine Expo this weekend.

The expo, held at the Prince of Wales Showgrounds, is expected to attract more than 5000 people, with exhibitors from across the state attending.

Bendigo Agricultural Show Society secretary Rod Bowles said the weekend would provide entertainment for everyone.

“We’ve been very impressed with the level of interest it has attracted.”

Mr Bowles said one of the highlights would be international horseman Steve Jefferies.

“He’s most known as the man who opened the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games when he galloped across the centre stage.

“There will be presenters on hand to answer any questions.”

The National Equine Expo is at the Prince of Wales Showgrounds today and tomorrow from 9am to 5.30pm.
