A BUNDOORA man has been found guilty of the sexual penetration of a child under 16, and not guilty on five other related charges.Brian Henderson, 52, heard the verdict at the Bendigo County Court yesterday. At a pre-trial hearing two weeks ago, defence counsel Daryl Wraith argued for the sex charges against his client to be heard elsewhere.Judge Julian Leckie later rejected the application.Following yesterday’s sentencing, Judge Leckie extended Henderson’s bail on the conditions that already applied.He must continue to report to police and reside in Bundoora.Henderson is due to return to court on December 15 for sentencing.
