IT was a gracious and humble Chooka Parker who last night exited Australia’s Got Talent.The 17-year-old self-taught classical musician from Red Lion failed to make it through to next week’s grand final to perform for $250,000.“Everyone on there is so good, so I am not too worried about it too much,” Chooka told the Bendigo Advertiser.“I will still be out busking.“You will see me in the streets performing.”options={AutoRewind:false,AutoStart:false,Player:"flv",Speed:"low",Width:463,Height:260}Chooka was among the favourites fans expected to make the grand final. Three contestants got through to the grand final after an audience vote.The show’s three judges chose another two contestants to make it through to the grand final.Singer Dannii Minogue gave her vote to Chooka, but her fellow judges supported other acts.She offered a glowing endorsement of the young performer, who she said was a talent unlike any other contestant that came before him.Chooka’s fans weren’t as humble in defeat as the young performer, ridiculing the show’s audience for failing to support him.“As soon as I got home I was on my piano,” Chooka said after Sunday’s pre-recorded episode.“That is how I get things out and that is not going to change.“It was not like that was going to be my career, it was just a show.”Chooka said he was glad to have participated in the program and thanked Bendigonians for their support.He said he hoped magician Cosentino would take out the title. “It was a bit of fun – that is how I treated it,” Chooka said.“I think I will enjoy getting back to normal life.“I will get back to my chooks.”
