YOUNG professionals across Bendigo are preparing to make their mark.
The Bendigo Young Professionals Network will be relaunched this month.
After months of preparation, a relaunch dinner will be held on March 23, with Margot Spalding from Jimmy Possum as speaker.
The Network’s chairman David Hughes said the aim of the group was to attract and retain young professionals in the Bendigo and central Victorian regions.
“Part of it is social development, but professional development is another part of it,” he said.
Designed for professionals in their 20s and 30s, Mr Hughes said the group was ideal for people new to Bendigo to meet like-minded people.
“We have drinks after work on a Friday night once a month at a different place in town,” he said.
“We always have a good turnout.”
Mr Hughes said that on a business side, there were opportunities to expand networking.
“We have lots of different people involved.”
